We started in Vejer with a handful of ideas and a lot of enthusiasm. We are still the same — only now we are two shops.
Born from a love of healthy living
La Kombu was born in 2010 inside La Kombuchería (www.kombucheria.com), in Vejer de la Frontera. Alongside our handcrafted Kombucha, we began offering products we were passionate about: local organic honeys, olive oil, goat’s cheese, real German bread. Demand grew quickly and we opened our own shop right next door. The locals had already named it: “I’m off to la Kombu”.
Our goal is simple, and it hasn’t changed: to make healthy, organic food accessible to everyone, and to build a business model grounded in fairness, respect, responsibility and ecology.
In 2026 we opened La Kolorá in El Colorado, Conil — a larger space that adds workshops, events and community to what we already do in Vejer.
